Summer Recreational Camp
Introduce your child to the world of circus with 5 days of fun at Collingwood Circus Club! This fun, 5-day or day camp program focuses on building circus skills as well as promoting a healthy sense of physical activity, and boosting the confidence of your child. This is an all levels circus camp that will centre on building a healthy foundation for beginners, while allowing students with experience to continue growing their skill set.
Students will learn fun tricks on the aerial silks, aerial hoop, aerial hammock, static trapeze, hula hoops, slackline, poi, acro, partner balance and much more.
Camps run daily from 9:00am - 4:00pm with two snack breaks and a lunch (provided by parents or guardians), as well as a series of fun indoor and outdoor activities and games. This camp is open to ages 6 through 12!
Aerial Attire: To practice aerial silks, it is optimal to wear full length or 3/4 length pants and a snug top. All jewelry must be removed. This includes rings, earrings, necklaces and bracelets.
Viewing Area: We have an enclosed area specifically for viewing. Parents, family members,friends or siblings are not allowed in any area of the gym at any time. For insurance and safety reasons only registered members are allowed on the gym floor.
Safety in the Gym: It is our policy that we reserve the right to remove any participant from our program that may hinder their own development or the development of the other students in our facility by inappropriate behaviour. Our hope is that everyone has fun and enjoys the time they have in our facility.
Pick Up and Drop Off: We insist that you come into the building to pick up and /or drop off your child for their programs. Our coaches are not able to supervise them after their class as they have to remain in the gym. Please pick up your child at the scheduled ending of their class.
We do not give refunds for missed camp days
Inclement Weather: Sorry, there will be no make up classes due to inclement weather or power outages.
